This was our basic challange for the development of
UNI-SAFE.

UNI-SAFE is the universal oil- and chemical binder.
Applicable on land to all liquids without restrictions.

Uni-Safe
UNI-SAFE has been developed by the German Chemical Industry in close cooperation with fire brigade specialists and it is designed to effectively absorb all liquid chemicals.

Test:

Nitric acid bound by UNI-SAFE. No formation of nitrious gases when using a copper splinter.

The composition of UNI-SAFE does not allow any dengerous reaction, not even with strongly reacting and oxidizing substances, such as nitric acid, oleum, bromine, sulphuric acid, hydrogen peroxide.

UNI-SAFE will also absorb lyes without problems..

Highest absorbtion - chemico-physical binding

The main component of UNI-SAFE is a polymer with an extremely high absorbency rate.

Therefore UNI-SAFE is able to bind liquids with a volume of up to 75 times its net weight.


Effectivity:
2 gr. of UNI-SAFE can absorb 150ml of water.

Results within seconds
While UNI-SAFE physically absorbs unaqueous substances through its caillary action, aqueous substances are bound in a chemical-physical process.

Effective liquid barriers up to 12 cm height

UNI-SAFE takes on the weight of the liquid and forms an efficient baarrier. Liquids are stopped from further spreading.

A light grenn dye functions as an indicator, typically, upon contact with acids it will change coloer to yellow, while upon contact with alkaline substances it will color to red.
This is an essential advantage for the emergency teams on site, as well as for the disposal of dangerous substances.

  

Prevents liquids from flowing into sewage system.

Emission Blocker

UNI-SAFE acts as an emission blocker. It creates a "steam barrier" protection people and environment. Even in case of contact with oleum and chlorosulfonic acid furnin g will stop immediatelly.

Use ot the UNI-SAFE Jet

The use of the UNI-SAFE Jet (same operation as common fire extinguishers) proved to be extremely fast and handy.

Simple application of the binder by hand or spreading equipment.

UNI-SAFE was found extraordinarily useful for the cleaning of contaminated traffic ways. No matter wether oil, color residues or other sediments -just spread UN I-SAFE, moisten with a little water and remove as usual.

UNI-SAFE binds dangerous substances along with the contaminated rain water.

The mixture of dangerous substances and binder can be swept, shoveled, sucked up or pumped away. Also the use of street sweepers has proven practical.
